The power cable connects a UK socket outlet (type G / BS 1363) with devices that have an IEC 60320 C14 device input (connection via IEC 60320 C13 coupling). The UK plug is equipped with a 10A fuse and thus supports a defined fuse protection of the supply line in installations.

The 3 × 1.0 mm² design and the H05VV-F cable type are designed for professional use in IT, AV and infrastructure environments where flexible installation and reliable contacting are required. The C13 coupling is intended as a cold appliance connection for applications in which the plug connector is not subjected to increased temperature loads during operation (plug connector temperature limit: 70°C).
