The adapter is used for video/audio connection of DisplayPort-capable output devices (e.g. monitor, projector, HDTV with DisplayPort input) to USB-C-capable end devices such as computers, smartphones or tablets. Thanks to its compact design, the adapter is particularly suitable for system integration, service cases and workplace setups in which existing DisplayPort infrastructure is to continue to be used.

Audio and video signals are transmitted via DisplayPort. The maximum supported image output is 4K*2K at 60 Hz (depending on the device and system).
