The adapter provides a DisplayPort interface via USB-C and enables the connection of monitors, projectors or displays with DisplayPort input. The signal is transmitted as audio/video output via DisplayPort.

A USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode (video output) is required for operation. The achievable resolution and refresh rate depends on the GPU/source, the end device and the DisplayPort cables used.
