Additional information on the power supply extension

To ensure safe operation, we recommend always taking into account the plug type, permissible current carrying capacity, conductor cross-section, cable length and installation situation (straight/angled) for DINIC IEC extensions (MAG GmbH). Colour variants also facilitate clear assignment in rack, UPS and equipment room installations.

Important note: Special case C19 to C14

If the connected load actually draws the 16A current permitted for C19 (or at least more than 10A), this can lead to unforeseeable effects - such as short circuits, damage to connected technical systems and an increased risk of fire. In this scenario, there is also a risk of personal injury, e.g. from electric shock.
