Cable description
The OM4 multimode fibre optic cable with SC/SC connectors is designed for professional fibre optic links in building and data centre cabling. The duplex construction provides two fibres and thus supports typical bidirectional transmission via separate transmit and receive paths.
OM4 fibres (50/125 µm) enable high bandwidths and ranges in the multimode environment. Typical orientation values (transceiver-dependent): 1 Gbit/s up to 1100 m, 10 Gbit/s up to 550 m, 40/100 Gbit/s up to 150 m.
The LSZH sheath is designed for indoor installations with increased requirements for low smoke emission and low-halogen materials and supports proper, standard-compliant infrastructure cabling.
