Cable description
The fibre optic patch cable in OS1 singlemode design (9/125µm) is designed for low-loss point-to-point connections between active network components, optical patch panels and splice/coupling panels. Thanks to the LC/LC duplex assembly, the transmit and receive directions can be neatly routed as a pair - an advantage for structured cabling and clear port assignment.
The LSZH jacket is designed for professional indoor use and supports installation environments where low smoke emission and low-halogen materials are required. With an outer diameter of approx. 1.8 mm, the cable is easy to handle in patch panels, cable management and sealed patch panels.
Typical, transceiver-dependent ranges (guide values): 1/10 Gbit/s up to approx. 40 km, 40/100 Gbit/s up to approx. 10 km (assuming singlemode optics).
