This mains adapter provides a UK type G appliance inlet (BS 1363) and is connected to sockets in the E/F system via a CEE 7/7 earthing contact plug. This allows devices with a UK mains plug to be operated in installations with an earthing contact infrastructure - e.g. in IT racks, temporary structures or for international device provision.

Note: The adapter is used for mechanical adaptation of the plug systems and is not a voltage or frequency converter. The electrical suitability of the end device (mains range) must be ensured by the project.
