Description
The DINIC HDMI-A connector (female/female) is a passive coupling adapter for connecting two HDMI Type A cables. This allows existing installations to be extended flexibly or an HDMI Type A plug to be "converted" into an HDMI Type A socket without active electronics.
Designed for Ultra High Speed HDMI (HDMI 2.1) with up to 48 Gbit/s, the connector supports high data rates for 8K@60 Hz or 4K@120 Hz (depending on device and cable) and remains backward compatible with existing HDMI generations. Gold-plated contact surfaces reduce contact resistance, while the metal housing provides mechanical protection in professional environments.
Planning note: Passive adapters and extensions can affect signal integrity. To utilise the full bandwidth, high-quality HDMI cables and a limited total cable length are recommended (guideline: up to approx. 3 m in total). For longer distances, active solutions or suitable transmission systems should be provided.
