Description
The SecureSleeve push-on sleeve for IEC 60320 C20 is pushed onto the C20 device plug of a mains cable and supports a mechanically more stable plug connection to the remote station with IEC 60320 C19 socket. In rack and server cabinet environments, vibrations, cable strain or cramped cable runs can lead to unintentional disconnections - the push-on sleeve reduces this risk and therefore increases operational safety on critical power paths.
The nylon 66 (PA66) housing material is designed for robust, repeated mating cycles and remains dimensionally stable within the specified temperature range. The red design serves as clear colour coding for quick identification of cables, paths or service assignments in the data centre and in system integration.
