Product description
The DINIC fibre optic adapter LC/APC socket to SC/APC socket is designed for the direct coupling of single-mode patch cables with LC/APC and SC/APC connectors. It is suitable for conversion between different connector types in fibre optic lines without additional active components or splicing work.
The APC cut of the ferrules achieves low return loss, which is particularly important for single-mode applications with high bandwidths and longer transmission distances. The adapter thus enables a stable, low-loss connection between access, distribution and end points in the fibre optic infrastructure.
The compact design is suitable for use in patch panels, distributors, fibre optic termination boxes and router/ONT connections, for example when LC/APC patch cables need to be adapted to SC/APC-based infrastructures. The coloured APC coding makes it easier to clearly identify the connector type in the field.
