Product description
The DINIC Cat.6 flat patch cable (PiMF/STP) is designed for professional RJ45/RJ45 connections in structured copper cabling. Thanks to the flat geometry (approx. 1.5 mm × 6.1 mm), the cable is particularly suitable for space-critical installations - e.g. behind skirting boards, under floor coverings, in flat parapet ducts or in furniture and technology routes.
The shielded design (PiMF/STP) supports low-interference data transmission in environments with electromagnetic influences. Gold-plated contacts and moulded bend protection with strain relief increase the operational reliability of patch panels, switch ports and end devices.
Note for planning/PoE: Due to the very slim conductor design (AWG 36), flat patch cables are typically designed for data patching; for PoE loads in permanently loaded routes, suitable PoE-capable patch cables with a larger conductor cross-section are preferable.
