This DisplayPort 1.4 connection cable is used for the digital transmission of image and sound signals between DisplayPort-capable end devices (e.g. graphics card, workstation, docking station) and display/playback technology (monitor, projector, AV display). With a maximum bandwidth of 32.4 Gbit/s (HBR3), the connection is suitable for high-resolution setups up to 8K/60 Hz (depending on end devices, signal mode and colour sampling).

Support for DSC 1.2 and FEC extends the range of applications for high resolutions and refresh rates, while HDR10 and Rec.2020 enable compatible signal transmission for modern display pipelines. The locking mechanism of the DisplayPort connectors supports a vibration-proof fit - advantageous for frequent device handling in service, rollout or rack environments.

The triple-shielded construction and copper conductors (AWG 30) are designed for a robust signal path in typical IT/AV installations. The PVC round jacket supports uncomplicated installation and strain relief in everyday use.
