Description

This fibre optic connection cable is used for the direct connection of fibre optic routers, ONTs or modems to FTTH termination boxes or transfer points with LC/APC interface. The design as a simplex OS2 single-mode cable with a length of 5 m offers sufficient cable clearance to position routers, patch panels or wall outlets flexibly in the room, corridor or network cabinet without having to resort to additional couplings or extensions.

LC/APC 8° connectors (LCA) are pre-assembled on both sides. The APC cut geometry with an 8° angle reduces back reflections and supports stable transmission quality on single-mode OS2 links. Thanks to the symmetrical LCA-LCA assembly, the cable is directly compatible with LC/APC WAN ports of fibre optic routers, ONTs and LC/APC-equipped FTTH termination boxes, patch panels and wall distributors.

The halogen-free LSZH sheath (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) reduces smoke and gas development in the event of fire and is therefore intended for installations in commercial and public buildings as well as in technical areas close to homes. The compact cable outer diameter of approx. 2.0 mm facilitates installation in small bending radii, installation ducts, flush-mounted and cavity wall boxes as well as in narrow equipment compartments of routers and distributors.

The white sheath colour enables visually discreet routing between the fibre optic socket, router and distributors. The packaging in the DINIC box with Euro hole is designed for use in specialist shops, warehouses and mobile service and allows clear hanging presentation as well as quick removal and labelling on site.
