Description
The connection cable connects fibre optic routers, ONTs or media converters to the existing LC/APC interface in the FTTH/FTTB network. It is a simplex OS2 singlemode cable with LC/APC 8° connectors on both ends, designed for high-performance point-to-point data connections on singlemode infrastructure.
The cable length of 15 m offers significant reserves for flexible positioning of routers, house distributors, technical cabinets and fibre optic transfer points in the building and still ensures stress-free installation. This also allows installations to be realised where the junction box, distribution cabinet and end device are distributed across several rooms or corridors. Excess lengths can be organised in patch panels or technical cabinets. The 2.0 mm round cable design enables space-saving routing in patch panels, cable ducts and IT racks.
The LSZH sheath (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) reduces the development of smoke and harmful gases in the event of a fire and therefore supports use in areas with increased safety requirements such as office buildings, technical rooms and data centre environments. The white sheath colour allows visually neutral integration into existing installations.
