Description

Simplex connection cable OS2 with LC/APC 8° to SC/APC 8° for connecting fibre optic routers, ONT or CPE devices with SC/APC subscriber outlets or transfer panels. The length of 5 m allows flexible positioning of end devices in the network cabinet, technical room or office area, even if the fibre optic transfer point is not located directly near the router.

The bevelled APC ferrules with an 8° angle reduce back reflections and support stable, low-loss single-mode transmissions in the OS2 range. The combination of LC/APC connector on the device side and SC/APC connector on the handover side corresponds to typical FTTH/FTTB scenarios with SC/APC-based fibre optic TA outlets and panels.

The halogen-free LSZH jacket reduces smoke development and corrosive gases in the event of fire and is therefore suitable for use in building cabling, IT rooms and distribution areas. The slim outer diameter of approx. 2.0 mm facilitates installation in cable ducts, empty conduits and behind wall boxes. The white sheath colour supports clear assignment of fibre optic connections in the patch panel or rack.
