Description

Simplex connection cable OS2 with LC/APC 8° to SC/APC 8° for connecting fibre optic routers, ONT or CPE devices to SC/APC-based fibre optic transfer points. The length of 30 m enables clean routing between the subscriber junction box, patch panel and end device, even over longer distances, without having to use additional couplers or extensions.

The APC ferrules with 8° cut minimise back reflections and support stable, low-loss single-mode transmissions in the OS2 range. The combination of LC/APC connector on the router or device interface and SC/APC connector on the handover side corresponds to typical FTTH/FTTB scenarios with SC/APC subscriber outlets or handover panels in building technology.

The halogen-free LSZH jacket reduces smoke development and corrosive gases in the event of fire and is therefore intended for use in office buildings, IT rooms and distribution environments. The outer diameter of approx. 2.0 mm facilitates installation in cable ducts, empty conduits or behind wall sockets without compromising cable management in the rack. The white sheath colour enables clear visual assignment of the router connection cable in the patch panel and in the cabling documentation.
