Description

Simplex connection cable OS2 with LC/APC 8° to SC/APC 8° for direct connection of fibre optic routers, ONT devices or CPEs to the fibre optic transfer point. With a length of 2 m, the cable offers sufficient reserve for laying between the subscriber junction box, patch panel or fibre optic modem without impairing the cable management in the rack or technical room.

The double-sided APC connectors with 8° cut reduce back reflections and support stable, low-loss single-mode transmissions in the OS2 range. The combination of LC/APC on the device side and SC/APC on the transfer side corresponds to common FTTH and FTTB scenarios with router or ONT connection.

The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket reduces smoke development and the release of corrosive gases in the event of a fire and is therefore suitable for use in technical rooms, office buildings and structured building cabling. The slim outer diameter of approx. 2.0 mm enables space-saving installation in cable ducts, close to walls or directly behind fibre optic routers. The white sheath colour makes it easier to clearly identify fibre optic connections in the distribution panel or rack.
