Description

Simplex connection cable OS2 with LC/APC 8° to SC/APC 8° for connecting fibre optic routers, ONT or CPE devices to SC/APC-based fibre optic transfer points. The length of 10 m allows flexible positioning of end devices in the network cabinet, technical room or office area, even at a greater distance from the subscriber junction box or transfer panel.

The APC ferrules with 8° cut minimise back reflections and support stable, low-loss single-mode transmissions in the OS2 range. The combination of LC/APC connector on the device side and SC/APC connector on the transfer side follows common FTTH/FTTB scenarios with SC/APC subscriber outlets and patch panels in building technology.

The halogen-free LSZH jacket reduces smoke and corrosive gases in the event of fire and is therefore suitable for use in office buildings, IT rooms and distribution environments. The slim outer diameter of approx. 2.0 mm facilitates installation in cable ducts, empty conduits and behind wall boxes. The white sheath colour supports a clear visual assignment of fibre optic connections in the patch panel or network cabinet.
