This hot appliance extension is used for the mains-side extension of supply cables in the IEC environment. The IEC-C14 plug is typically connected to a suitable IEC-C13 outgoing side (e.g. PDU, UPS, mains distributor); the IEC-C15 coupling is intended for devices with an IEC-C16 device inlet.

The version with C15 coupling is designed for applications where higher temperature loads can occur at the device inlet (hot device applications). The H05V2V2-F cable type supports robust, close-to-install installation in typical technical and IT environments.
