This hot appliance extension connects an IEC 60320 C13 power output (typically to a PDU/UPS with a C13 socket) via the C14 plug to appliances that use a C16 appliance socket suitable for hot appliances. The C15 coupling is mechanically coded (notched profile) and intended for applications with higher thermal loads on the device connection side.

The 3G1.0 mm² conductor structure makes the cable suitable for robust, practical installations in IT and industrial environments. The H05V2V2-F cable supports use in environments in which increased temperatures can occur at the connection area (e.g. network technology, PDUs in the rack or heat-generating devices with a detachable supply cable).
