Product description
This hot appliance extension connects an IEC 60320 C14 infeed with an IEC 60320 C15 outgoing coupling. The C15 version is intended for applications in which higher temperatures can occur at the device inlet. This makes the cable particularly suitable for heat-generating consumers and IT/infrastructure components where the temperature at the connection area can exceed the usual design of standard IEC connectors.
The cable in H05V2V2-F design (3G 1.0 mm²) supports robust installation and clear colour coding in control cabinet, rack and service operation. The C14/C15 combination is often used as an IEC extension between existing power distribution (e.g. IEC outlets) and devices with a detachable supply cable.
