Description
The SecureSleeve push-on sleeve in blue is mounted on IEC 60320 C13 couplers and improves the mechanical security of the plug connection on C14 device inlets. In rack and data centre environments, slight vibrations, cable strain or narrow cable runs can cause connections to loosen over time. The push-on sleeve increases the retention force and supports a more stable power supply to PDUs, servers and active infrastructure.
The blue colour code facilitates assignment and maintenance in multi-strand installations (e.g. power paths, device groups or service/redundancy identification). The nylon 66 (PA66) used is designed for professional use and offers good resistance to mechanical stress.
