This DINIC USB 3.0 extension extends an existing USB type A connection by 2.0 metres and is designed for super-speed applications up to 5.0 Gbps. Typical applications include extending the range of peripheral connections and providing flexible access to USB ports on PCs, panels, docking solutions or test setups.

Gold-plated contacts reduce contact resistance and support a permanently stable connection - especially with frequent plugging or in service-intensive environments. The defined conductor structure (3P AWG 28 / 1P AWG 24 according to version) is designed for the separate routing of high-speed data and power supply.

Backwards compatibility means that it can also be used on USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 interfaces (functionally dependent on the connected end device and host controller).
