This fibre optic coupling connects two SC duplex patch cables or SC duplex connectors in multimode installations via a socket/socket design. The adapter is suitable for structured fibre optic cabling when cable segments in patch panels, fibre optic termination boxes or patch panels need to be neatly joined or extended.

The silver metal housing is designed for professional use in distribution board environments. The snap-on fastening supports quick installation in front panels; in addition, the M2x10 screws supplied enable mechanically defined fixing. Dust protection caps reduce the risk of contamination at the contact points during transport, storage and installation.
