The LC/LC duplex coupler (socket/socket) is used for the direct connection of two LC duplex fibre optic patch cables in multimode installations. Typical applications include port extension in the patch panel, the transition between patch panels and the structured construction of fibre optic lines in racks.

The metallic housing supports a mechanically resilient installation. Dust caps protect the ferrule holder when the ports are not in use. The snap-on fastening simplifies installation in front panels; two M2×10 screws are also included for installation-dependent fixings.
