This OM4 fibre optic cable is a pre-assembled duplex patch cable with LC connectors at both ends. The 50/125 µm multimode fibre (OM4) is designed for high bandwidths in short and medium distances and is typically used in building networks, server rooms and data centre environments.

The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) cladding supports installation-compliant requirements in sensitive areas thanks to its halogen-free material design and reduced smoke development. The violet sheath colour (RAL 4003) facilitates clear identification in the patch field and during servicing.

Compared to lower multimode classes, OM4 enables higher transmission reserves and ranges in the respective application profile (depending on transceivers and active hardware).
