Cable description
This OM4 fibre optic patch cable is designed for multimode fibre optic links in professional IT and telecommunications installations. The LC duplex connectors enable compact port assignment on switches, patch panels and transceivers and support typical duplex connections (Tx/Rx) without additional adapters.
The LSZH jacket reduces smoke emission and does not release halogens - an important advantage for installations in buildings, escape routes, technical centres and sealed rack environments. The ericaviolet colour code (RAL 4003) supports clear media and quality assignment within structured cabling (OM4).
Typical guide values for maximum transmission distances (depending on transceivers, attenuation budget and installation): 1 Gbit/s up to 1100 m, 10 Gbit/s up to 550 m, 40/100 Gbit/s up to 150 m.
