This OM4 multimode fibre optic cable (50/125 µm) with LC/LC duplex connectors is designed for structured fibre optic cabling in professional IT and industrial environments. The LC form factor supports high port densities on switches, patch panels and SFP/QSFP transceivers (device-dependent).

The LSZH outer jacket is low halogen and low smoke and is therefore particularly suitable for installations in buildings, server cabinets and cable routes where fire protection requirements play a role. Thanks to the small outer diameter of approx. 1.8 mm, the patch cable can also be routed neatly in cable management systems and supports organised air routing in the rack.

OM4 fibres enable higher transmission reserves and ranges compared to lower multimode classes - particularly relevant for 10/40/100 Gigabit Ethernet connections (depending on active components and link budget).
