Description
This OM4 fibre optic cable is designed as a duplex patch cable with LC connectors on both sides and is designed for multimode transmission links in structured building cabling and in technical rooms. The OM4 fibre (50/125 µm) supports high bandwidths and offers a greater range at higher data rates compared to older multimode classes - suitable for modern switch/server uplinks and backbone links.
The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) outer jacket is designed for reduced smoke development and halogen-free materials and is predestined for installations in indoor areas where fire protection properties and low smoke gas development are required. The violet sheath colour (RAL 4003) makes it easier to clearly identify OM4 routes in the patch panel.
