The OM4 fibre optic patch cable with LC/LC duplex connectors is designed for low-loss multimode fibre optic links in professional IT and telecommunications environments. The OM4 fibre type (50/125 µm) supports high data rates over short to medium distances and is suitable for structured cabling in distribution boards and patch panels.

The LSZH outer jacket is designed for installations in sensitive areas: halogen-free in accordance with IEC 60754-2, low-smoke in accordance with IEC 61034 and flame-retardant in accordance with IEC 60332-1, making the cable particularly suitable for building and data centre environments with increased fire behaviour requirements.

Typical ranges (application-dependent, depending on transceivers and attenuation budget): 1 Gbit/s up to 1100 m, 10 Gbit/s up to 550 m, 40/100 Gbit/s up to 150 m.
