Cable description
This OM4 fibre optic patch cable is designed for professional multimode fibre optic links in IT and telecommunications environments. The duplex design with LC duplex connectors enables a clean assignment of the transmit and receive paths in patch panels, switches and transceiver ports.
The LSZH outer jacket is suitable for installations in indoor areas with increased requirements for smoke development and freedom from halogen (halogen-free in accordance with IEC 60754-2, flame-retardant in accordance with IEC 60332-1, low-smoke in accordance with IEC 61034). The outer diameter of approx. 3.0 mm supports robust patch applications while at the same time ensuring good installation in manoeuvring areas.
OM4 fibres are optimised for high data rates over short to medium distances. Typical guide values for the maximum range: 1 Gbit/s up to 1100 m, 10 Gbit/s up to 550 m, 40 Gbit/s up to 150 m, 100 Gbit/s up to 150 m (depending on the route and device).
