Product description

The DINIC IEC 60320-C8 R-201 screw-type socket is a compact small appliance box for securely accommodating IEC 60320-C7 appliance plugs (Euro-8). It is suitable for installation in housing fronts and rear panels of small and IT devices as well as audio and entertainment electronics where a two-pole mains voltage supply without protective earth conductor is required.

The screw mounting enables defined and mechanically stable fastening in the housing, making the socket suitable for use in series production, small series and professional device construction. The integrated screw terminals allow the internal cables to be securely fixed and, if necessary, tightened or loosened in a service-friendly manner.

The insulated plastic design and the standardised C8 interface enable a compatible, clear and standard-compliant power supply for small consumers in the low-voltage network. This supports a clear separation of mains and low-voltage levels in the device and facilitates standardised service and replacement processes.
