This USB 2.0 extension (USB type A plug to USB type A socket) is used to extend the range of USB connections during assembly and service work, in the IT environment and in technical installations. The cable design with separate cross-sections (AWG 28 for data, AWG 24 for power supply) supports reliable signal and power transmission in typical USB 2.0 applications.

The double shielding reduces external interference, e.g. when laid in parallel with other cables or in the vicinity of power supply units and components in the control cabinet or rack. The transparent jacket facilitates visual inspection and assignment in patch and device management.
