The DINIC FireWire connection cable (IEEE 1394a) connects devices with a FireWire 400 interface if there is a 6-pin port on one side and a 4-pin port on the other. Typical scenarios are the connection of older peripherals to workstations, media and capture systems or the integration into existing installations with mixed FireWire plug faces.

The 4.0 m cable length supports flexible installation in work areas, technical rooms or for temporary setups (service/testing). The white version in MAC design also facilitates visual integration in bright workplace environments and can help with colour-coded cabling concepts.
