Cable description

This OS1 single-mode fibre optic cable (9/125 µm) with SC/SC connectors is designed for professional fibre optic patch connections. The duplex version bundles two fibres in one cable set and thus supports the usual bidirectional transmission (Tx/Rx) in structured cabling.

The LSZH jacket (low halogen) reduces corrosive gas formation and smoke development in the event of fire and is therefore particularly suitable for use in buildings, technical rooms and infrastructures with defined fire protection requirements. The compact outer diameter of approx. 1.8 mm supports space-saving patch panel and rack routing.

Typical ranges (depending on attenuation budget, transceiver and link design): 1G to 40 km, 10G to 40 km, 40G to 10 km, 100G to 10 km.
