This fibre optic patch cable is designed as an OS1 single-mode connection (9/125 µ) for precise, low-attenuation fibre optic links. The duplex version enables parallel transmission (send/receive) via two fibres and thus supports typical switch, router and patch panel cabling in professional environments.

The LSZH jacket is low-halogen and designed for low smoke emission. This makes the cable suitable for structured building cabling, technical rooms and installations where smoke gas and fire behaviour requirements are taken into account.

OS1 is used exclusively in single-mode operation and is particularly popular in telecommunications and backbone applications.
