C13 to C20 power cable

In this category you will find DINIC C13-to-C20 power cables (power extensions) for professional use in IT, industry and building technology. The combination of IEC 60320 C13 (plug) and C20 (socket/coupling) is ideal for connecting devices with a C20 connection to existing C13 supply cables or PDUs safely and in accordance with standards.

MAG GmbH supplies the appropriate versions for project and service requirements - typically in black, VDE-tested and in standard lengths (e.g. 0.5 m to 5 m). In addition, Y variants (2x C13 to C20) are also available for structured rack and power distribution scenarios as required.

Advantages and typical applications of DINIC C13 to C20 IEC cables

Your advantages at a glance

  • VDE-tested quality for reliable continuous use
  • Conductor cross-sections such as 3 x 1.0 mm² (depending on variant) for suitable power reserves
  • IEC 60320 connector system: compatible with common IT/PDU environments
  • Robust sheathed cables (e.g. H05VV-F) for workshops, racks and technical rooms
  • DINIC standard product for predictable procurement and rollout projects
  • Bulk packaging ideal for service, system house and series installation

Typical applications C13 to C20 IEC cables

  • Power extension/adapter section in 19" rack between PDU (C13) and device with C20 input
  • Connection of UPS, PDU or power supply components with C20 inlet in server rooms
  • Service and replacement cables for data centres, industrial PCs and network technology
  • Temporary cabling for rollouts, relocations and maintenance windows
  • Y variants for clear distribution or redundancy scenarios (A/B feed) depending on the set-up

Select the right version according to length (e.g. 0.5-5 m), conductor cross-section (e.g. 1.0 mm² or 1.5 mm² for Y cables), connector combination and packaging (bulk) - for a clean, safe and service-friendly installation.

Important note: Special case C19 to C14

A cable or adapter from IEC C19 to IEC C14 is technically critical, as different permissible currents come together here. If the connected load actually draws the current of 16 A (or generally more than 10 A) intended for C19, this can lead to unforeseeable effects.

Possible consequences

  • Short-circuit and overload situations
  • Damage to connected technical systems
  • Increased fire risk

Safety risk

  • Risk of personal injury
  • z. e.g. due to electric shock

Please understand that MAG GmbH neither offers nor supplies such a cable for reasons of product liability. For a safe solution, we recommend the selection of suitable, standardised IEC combinations according to the required current carrying capacity.
