Plug type J
The system is also referred to as type 13 in Switzerland and is usually used with 220-230 V AC, 50 Hz. To ensure safety when handling plugs, the Swiss standard SEV 1011:2009 introduced partially insulated plug pins of type 11 (2-pin 10A) and type 12 (3-pin 10A) for mains plugs.
Plug C13 (YC-12)
IEC 60320-C13 cold appliance plugs are used for the power connection of appliances that do not generate heat during operation. The maximum temperature of the plug must not exceed 70°C and the maximum current flow is set at 10A. Cold appliance plugs do not fit into warm or hot appliance sockets.
