Cable description
This fibre optic connection cable is used for the direct connection of fibre optic routers, ONTs or modems to FTTH termination boxes or transfer points with LC/APC interface. The simplex OS2 single-mode cable version with a length of 1 m is particularly suitable for short connections in the access area, e.g. between the fibre optic socket and the end device.
LC/APC 8° connectors (LCA) are assembled on both ends. The APC cut geometry with an 8° angle ensures low back reflections and stable transmission quality in typical single-mode applications. The standardised LCA-LCA assembly makes the cable particularly suitable for routers and network termination devices with LC/APC WAN ports as well as LC/APC-equipped patch panels and termination boxes.
The halogen-free LSZH sheath (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) reduces smoke and gas development in the event of fire and is therefore designed for installations in commercial and public buildings. The compact outer diameter of approx. 2.0 mm facilitates installation in small radii, cable ducts and equipment cabinets without taking up unnecessary space.
The white jacket colour ensures visually discreet integration in router environments, office environments and residential distribution zones. Delivery in the DINIC box enables clean storage, labelling and distribution in specialist shops or during service calls.
