Description of cable

The DINIC modem cable reliably connects analogue fax machines, modems or answering machines with international PIN assignment to a TAE-N extension socket. A TAE-N plug is used on the TAE side and a Western plug in 6P4C design (RJ11 design), 2-wire configuration, on the device side.

The cable is 2-wire and has an internal bridge in the TAE plug. This enables parallel operation of a telephone and another terminal device (e.g. fax or modem) at a TAE socket without having to use additional distributors or adapters.

The flat, black telephone cable can be laid to save space and run unobtrusively along walls, skirting boards or in office furniture. The 6.00 m length offers additional space between the TAE socket and the workstation, e.g. for installations in larger offices or where there is a distance between the connection socket and the end device.

The pre-assembled design reduces installation effort and the risk of errors, as no separate plug installation is required. The cable is therefore suitable for standardised installations, service applications and equipping workstations with analogue fax/modem connections.
