Description

Simplex connection cable OS2 with LC/APC 8° to SC/APC 8° for connecting fibre optic routers, ONT devices or CPEs to the fibre optic transfer point. The length of 3 m provides sufficient reserve to position routers or end devices flexibly in the rack, technical cabinet or at the workstation without creating unnecessary cable lengths or winding reserves.

The double-sided APC connectors with 8° cut minimise back reflections and support stable, low-loss single-mode transmissions in the OS2 range. The combination of LC/APC on the device side and SC/APC on the transfer side corresponds to typical FTTH and FTTB scenarios with SC/APC subscriber outlets or transfer panels.

The LSZH sheath (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) reduces smoke development and corrosive gases in the event of fire and is therefore suitable for use in distribution rooms, office buildings and structured building cabling. The slim outer diameter of approx. 2.0 mm facilitates installation in narrow cable ducts, behind wall boxes or in densely populated racks. The white sheath colour enables clear visual identification of fibre optic connection cables in the patch panel or network cabinet.
