Note / Please note:

Generally, all passive DisplayPort (DP) to HDMI cables and/or passive adapters only work in the DP to HDMI (monitor) direction. This is because the DisplayPort interface can output an HDMI signal, but there is no DisplayPort signal on an HDMI port. The latter type of signal conversion is only possible with an active converter (signal converter).
