Cable description
The connection cable connects fibre optic transfer points with router or ONT interfaces in FTTH and WAN installations. It is a pre-assembled simplex OS2 patch cable with LC/APC 8° connector on one end (LCA) and SC/APC 8° connector on the other end (SCA). The APC cut geometry with an 8° angle ensures low return loss and enables reliable data transmission in single-mode networks.
With a length of 3.00 m, the cable provides sufficient reserve between the fibre optic junction box or house transfer point and the router, making it easier to position the end devices in the room or in the control cabinet. The outer diameter of approx. 2.0 mm supports space-saving routing in cable ducts, patch panels and compact housings.
The LSZH sheath (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) is designed for environments with increased safety requirements. In the event of fire, smoke and halogen development is reduced, which supports use in technical rooms, office buildings, data centre environments and public areas.
Factory assembly with LC/APC and SC/APC connectors eliminates the need for on-site connector assembly. Fibre optic routers, media converters or ONTs can thus be reproducibly and securely connected to LCA/SCA outlets and fibre optic patch panels.
