The DINIC HDMI to VGA adapter is an active converter for connecting modern HDMI sources to existing VGA infrastructures. The HDMI signal is converted into an analogue VGA video signal; a separate audio output is also available via the integrated audio socket. This allows image and sound to be clearly separated in installations with VGA displays/projectors and external audio feeds.

The short, integrated connection cable (0.15 m) reduces mechanical stress on the HDMI port and makes it easier to use in tightly packed device interfaces (e.g. media technology, conference rooms, service/testing).

Technical note: Depending on the connected hardware, an additional power supply via a micro USB cable may be required (not included). The adapter is designed exclusively for the HDMI → VGA direction and is not suitable for converting from VGA → HDMI.
