The DINIC DVI-I to VGA cable is used for analogue image transmission from devices with DVI-I/DVI-A interface to displays with VGA (D-Sub 15HD) input. It is typically used to connect a PC/graphics card to a VGA monitor or projector if a DVI-I output is available on the source device.

The double shielding supports stable signal routing in standard installation environments (e.g. IT/office and technical rooms), especially with longer cable runs and parallel routing to other cables.

Note on the interface: The cable requires a DVI-I or DVI-A connection with an analogue signal. Pure DVI-D outputs (digital only) are not suitable for VGA.
