The DINIC adapter cable connects DisplayPort outputs (e.g. on workstations, PCs or docking solutions) with HDMI displays. The short adapter cable (0.10 m) reduces the load on the device interfaces compared to rigid adapters and facilitates integration in installations with frequent device changes or cramped connection fields.

A lockable DisplayPort connector and gold-plated contacts have been implemented for robust use in the system environment. This supports contact stability and mating cycles in daily operation.

Please note: DisplayPort-to-HDMI cables or passive adapters are always monodirectional and only work in the direction DisplayPort → HDMI (monitor). A conversion from HDMI (source) to DisplayPort (display) requires an active converter.
