The DINIC connection cable enables the connection of USB Type C interfaces (e.g. notebook, PC, docking station/hub, service adapter or USB-C power supply) to end devices that have a Micro-USB Type B socket. Typical applications are existing devices and accessories in professional environments where the host side is already standardised to USB-C.

On the micro USB Type B side, the interface is designed as USB 2.0; the achievable data rate depends on the host/end device and the USB 2.0 transmission channel. In addition, charging is supported, covering synchronisation and power supply in service and integration scenarios via a single cable.
