Product description
This mains adapter provides a robust interface between a European earthing contact connection side (CEE 7/3 socket) and the British plug system type G (BS 1363). The integrated 10A fuse in the UK plug supports fusing in accordance with typical UK installation practice.
The screw-mounted version is designed for applications where a permanently mounted adapter is required (e.g. export devices, rollouts, service and project installations). The screw-fastened design means that the adapter can only be removed with tools - an advantage when providing standardised devices for target markets with a type G plug-in system.
The CEE 7/3 socket is designed for connecting earthing contact plugs (Schuko) and enables the protective conductor function to be continued via the corresponding contact surfaces.
