Description of the
This connection cable connects Indian mains sockets (type D, 3-pin) with devices, power supply units or components with IEC 60320 C8 device installation socket (suitable for C7 / "Figure-8"). The type D plug is designed for the Indian market and is suitable for professional application scenarios such as export devices, system integration and project rollouts.
The angled IEC 60320 C7 connector (90°) is optimised for confined spaces, e.g. behind devices, in media walls or in dense installations. The angled design makes the plug connection more compact, reduces tensile and bending stresses at the plug transition and simplifies installation in confined areas.
The illustration of the connector is decisive, as the designation left/right/top/bottom angled depends on the respective point of view.
Note on BIS approval: The BIS certificate of the previous manufacturing partner expired on 18/07/2025; this may temporarily affect the availability of power cables with BIS labelling.
